With a winning combination of catchy hooks and pure jet fuel, Joy Buzzer has quickly established themselves as one of the most exciting bands in the modern power pop landscape. Channeling influences from Fountains of Wayne, XTC, Squeeze, Todd Rundgren, and Cheap Trick, the group delivers a sound brimming with big melodies, sharp harmonies, and infectious choruses.

Led by songwriter/guitarist Jed Becker, Joy Buzzer is fronted by vocalist Kevin Lydon, who previously teamed with Becker in the NYC garage rock outfit The Lord Calverts. The band also features guitarist/singer Kg Noble, bassist/singer Nick DeMatteo, and drummer Mark Brotter—each bringing their own flair to the band’s high-octane sound.

Since signing with Wicked Cool Records, Joy Buzzer have made their mark on Little Steven’s Underground Garage (SiriusXM), with three of their songs being spotlighted as the coveted “Coolest Song in the World.”
